Practice Areas: Charles Tuffley has been practicing law since 1965 and focuses his activities on first party property insurance. Mr. Tuffley specializes in the handling and litigation of complex first-party property coverage cases (including arson and fraud) and subrogation throughout the United States. Recent Cases: Property coverage cases handled by Mr. Tuffley include several multi-million dollar claims arising out of natural disasters such as hurricanes, earthquakes, and floods involving all aspects of coverage and, in some cases, fraud. The coverage cases have also involved complicated technical issues such as failures of refinery equipment, electric generating equipment, furnaces, and structural failures.
Subrogation has included numerous multi-million dollar cases including the loss of a satellite, high-rise fires, broadcast tower collapses, refinery and chemical fires and explosions, complex equipment and process failures, and building structural failures.
