Practice Areas: Gary Chopp has been practicing law since 1981 and focuses on litigating subrogation cases and first party property insurance disputes around the country. Mr. Chopp is a former Oakland County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. In that capacity, he represented the people of the State of Michigan in prosecuting those accused of having committed major crimes against persons and property. He has drawn upon his extensive trial experience to litigate insurance disputes throught trial and arbitration. Since 1987, he has tried subrogation cases and first party property insurance cases (including arson and fraud).
