Practice Areas: Paul Hines has been practicing law since 1992. Mr. Hines has successfully tried cases and handled appeals in several states, including Michigan, Ohio, Missouri, Texas and Colorado. He has been admitted pro hac vice in many other states, representing insurers, corporations and individuals in product liability, insurance coverage disputes and negligence claims nationwide. Mr. Hines has experience in first and third party insurance litigation; commercial property subrogation; liability and property insurance coverage; automobile and no fault litigation and general civil litigation.
Recent Cases: Mr. Hines recently tried an ammonia-fueled, fire spread case in the State of Ohio. After receiving a multi-million dollar verdict, he negotiated a resolution significantly greater than the verdict. As the plaintiff, Mr. Hines presently represents more than a dozen worldwide insurers in litigation with Fortune 100 companies. He is often retained by defendants to represent their interests in the context of commercial property subrogation, complex negligence and professional liability/malpractice claims. He has enjoyed recent successes at the Court of Appeals in the areas of trademark infringement and insurance litigation.
