Professional Background

Reeve Segal has been practicing law since 2007, and concentrates his practice in the areas of subrogation and commercial litigation.

As counsel for Plaintiffs, Mr. Segal has experience in subrogation, property insurance, products liability and negligence cases. Additionally, Mr. Segal has experience in trademark, ADA, asbestos and insurance defense matters. He has handled all stages of litigation, including investigation, discovery, mediation, alternative dispute resolution and trial.

As a Plaintiff’s attorney Mr. Segal has achieved settlements in the millions of dollars for his clients. As an example, in 2009 Mr. Segal was co-lead trial counsel in a Los Angeles Superior Court defamation case and recovered $74.5 million for his client. The total jury verdict (for all the plaintiffs) was $370 million dollars — the largest jury verdict in the United States in 2009, and the highest defamation verdict in American History.
